Ekiti State governor, Governor Ayodele Fayose has branded the embattled National Chairman of PDP, Sen. Ali Modu Sherif and his caucus as political kidnappers.
Governor Fayose made this assertion during the opening session of the PDP South West stakeholders meeting on Moday.
The Ekiti State number one man explains that the court does not have any right whatsoever to appoint excos for the party owners. While speaking after the meeting, he explains that Ali Modu Sheriff and his group are not the true leaders of the party as they are working as mole for the opposition.
However, Governor Fayose has reaffirmed his solidarity for the factional chairman, Sen. Makarfi.
“To me, I stand with Makarfi, because the judiciary has no reason to appoint the chairman and executive members for party owners.”
Also present at the party are other PDP stakeholders from the South West including the former PDP Deputy National Chairman, Bode George.
